Privacy Policy
The short version: the only personal data held is the email address you sign in with and the things you choose to save. There are no analytics, no advertising scripts and no tracking of any kind, and nothing is ever sold or shared.

1. What is collected
Only what the app needs to work:
- Your email address and a securely hashed password, so you can sign in. The plain password is never stored or visible to anyone.
- What you save — bookmarked books, your radar, the artists and keywords you watch, and any shop you ask to have added.
- Photos you upload — covers you scan or screenshots you add, kept in private storage that is not publicly reachable.
- A session cookie, which keeps you signed in, and a small cookie remembering your chosen display currency.
2. What is not collected
No analytics or statistics packages. No advertising or tracking pixels. No third-party profiling, fingerprinting or cross-site tracking. No location data. No contacts, and no access to your photo library beyond the individual images you pick yourself.
3. Why it is held
Solely to run the service for you: to sign you in, to show you your own saved books, and to tell you when something you saved comes back into stock. It is not used for anything else, and never for marketing.
4. Who else can see it
Nobody else uses this data, and it is never sold, rented or shared with advertisers or data brokers. Two service providers process it purely to keep the site running:
- Supabase — hosts the database, the sign-in system and the uploaded images.
- Cloudflare — serves this site and handles the connection to it.
Each table is protected by row-level security on the server, so the key inside the app and the iOS app grants nothing on its own — your data is only readable while you are signed in as yourself.
5. How long it is kept
Your account and saved items are kept until you ask for them to be deleted. Indexed book listings are not personal data; they are refreshed and replaced as shops update their own pages.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account and everything saved under it to be permanently deleted. Email contact@photobookradar.com and it will be done — deletion removes the account, the saved books and any uploaded images.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will change with it. If a change ever meant collecting meaningfully more than is described here, you would be told rather than left to notice.
Written in plain English on purpose. If something here is unclear, ask rather than guess — contact@photobookradar.com
